Officials Celebrate 70th Anniversary of Stateline Speedway

The culmination of a year-long 70th anniversary celebration of stock car racing took place Saturday evening at Stateline Speedway in Busti. Four proclamations and citations were presented to owners Bill and Lisa Catania, who purchased the track from Jim and Jean Scott last year. A representative from Congressman Nick Langworthy's office also presented a proclamation to the Catanias for their support and continuing the traditions at Stateline Speedway. Langworthy's father, Ted, raced at Stateline and sponsored several cars down through the years.
