
An arrest warrant has been issued for a Dunkirk man who is sought in connection with a homicide in the city in June. The Dunkirk Police Department announced Friday evening that 24-year-old Tywon Wright faces charges of 2nd-degree murder and 2nd-degree criminal possession of a weapon. The charges stem from an incident on June 11th, when 25-year-old Delani Williams was shot and killed at 110 South Gazelle Street. Anyone with any information on Wright's whereabouts is asked to call the Dunkirk Police Department at (716) 366-2266. Members of the public are advised to not approach or try to apprehend Wright; anyone who believes they have information concerning his whereabouts is asked to contact law enforcement immediately.
