Five graduates of Jamestown Community College's nursing program Class of 1966 returned to Jamestown last weekend to celebrate the 60th anniversary of their graduation, reconnect, and share memories from their time as students. The reunion included a tour of nursing classrooms and labs, lunch at Honest John's, and a chat with Heather Burrell, JCC Associate Dean of Health Sciences and Wellness and Director of Nursing. They were happy to hear from Burrell about the vast clinical and laboratory experiences available to today's JCC nursing students.
The five graduates -- Bonnie Allenson Biondolillo, Elaine Swanson Crossley, Wendy Eimers, Pennie Penhollow Harvey and Sue Johnson -- also shared stories about the different career paths they pursued and reflected on the many advancements in technology and other aspects of nursing over the years.
JCC nursing graduates from 1966 gather regularly and last reunited on campus for their 55th class anniversary in 2021.
