
Two arrests were made Friday evening for separate altercations that occurred in Westfield and Silver Creek. Deputies with the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported past tense altercation in the Town of Westfield around 8:00 PM, and found that 41-year-old Larry Houser had allegedly subjected another person to unwanted physical contact, as well as preventing them from contacting emergency services. Houser was placed into custody and charged with 2nd-degree harassment and 4th-degree criminal mischief.
In the Village of Silver Creek around 11:30 PM, Deputies responded to a reported altercation and determined that 45-year-old Tiffany Farley had allegedly obstructed the breathing of the victim in the presence of children. Farley was arrested and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and endangering the welfare of a child.
