An investigation into a stabbing that occurred earlier this month near Jamestown's Riverwalk Trail has led to the arrest of a city man. Jamestown Police were called to the area of 7 North Main Street on September 4th at about 10:30 PM. Officers say the victim was located, treated and transported for further care after suffering apparent serious injuries. After further investigation, a warrant was obtained for 35-year-old David Rodriguez, charging him with 1st-degree assault. Rodriguez was arraigned in Jamestown City Court and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail.
The stabbing occurred several hours after a previous stabbing had taken place in the area of Riverwalk Park. 59-year-old Delbert Clark was charged in connection with that incident.
