A homeless man who had just been released from the Jamestown City Jail was sent back to the jail after he allegedly pulled the fire alarm in the Jamestown Police Department's reception area. Jamestown Police say they saw 45-year-old Randall Crocker pull the alarm shortly before 12:30 AM Tuesday, about 30 minutes after being released from the jail due to New York State's bail reform law. Because there was no emergency occurring in or around the area, Crocker was taken into custody without incident and charged with a felony count of 2nd-degree falsely reporting an incident. Officers say he was again released with an appearance ticket due to bail reform.
