One person had to be rushed to a regional hospital for treatment after a car crashed into a house in the area of Fairmount Avenue and Route 474 in the Town of Busti Friday afternoon. Chautauqua County dispatchers say Lakewood Fire and Lakewood-Busti Police responded to the location at about 1:30 PM. There was a report the entire vehicle had gone inside, but that was not confirmed by dispatch. Officials report there was also some fire related to the crash. Dispatchers say the injured person was flown by STAT MedEvac to a nearby hospital. No other details have been provided at this time.
