Brian Swatland: a huge increase
In addition to those numbers, Swatland highlighted increased proficiency in English Language Arts and math for students in the 3rd, 4th and 6th grades, and a 5% improvement in science proficiency for 8th-grade students. He also mentioned a 6% across-the-board improvement in STAR testing.
