
Two municipalities in Chautauqua County were recently awarded state money towards water infrastructure improvement projects. Governor Kathy Hochul announced $50,000 in wastewater infrastructure engineering planning grants for both the Town of Pomfret and Town of Cherry Creek. The grants are part of $3.1 million that will be used to jumpstart 63 water quality projects across the state by giving local governments resources to develop engineering plans to they may access additional funding for construction.
