Starting in January, New York will expand an initiative that provides free community college access for adult learners. On Monday, Governor Kathy Hochul announced that state residents ages 25-55 can enroll in a SUNY or CUNY Associate's degree program in a high-demand field for free, even if they have already completed a college degree in a different area.
