Jamestown Police officers arrested a man on a grand larceny charge following a domestic incident. On Thursday, officers responded to a location on the city's north side around 3:53 AM. Upon arrival, officers made contact with 36-year-old Joseph Grant. Officers later determined during investigation that Grant had allegedly taken the victim's cell phone from their person without their permission. When officers attempted to take Grant into custody, a brief struggle ensued. Grant was ultimately taken into custody without further incident and charged with 4th-degree grand larceny and resisting arrest. He is being held in the Chautauqua County Jail.
