A 77-year-old man died as the result of a two-vehicle crash in southern Erie County on Saturday. According to Eden Town Police, a preliminary investigation and witness accounts found that an eastbound sedan on North Boston Road driven by a 50-year-old woman from Hamburg failed to yield the right of way to a vehicle traveling north on Sisson Highway shortly after 10:30 AM. The collision injured the woman and two children who were in the eastbound vehicle, while the man in the northbound vehicle was critically injured. All four were transported to area hospitals, with the 77-year-old -- who is from Boston -- later pronounced dead. The crash remains under investigation.
