Kathy Hochul will be Governor of New York for another four years. ABC News projected the Western New York Democrat as the winner of her race against Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman, 12 minutes after the polls closed at 9:00 PM. With the victory, Hochul -- who became Governor in August 2021 -- will begin a second full term in 2027. In Chautauqua County, Blakeman received more support, amassing 26,355 votes to Hochul's 16,278.
