A Jamestown man who is in the Chautauqua County Jail following a standoff with police earlier in the week is now facing an additional charge stemming from a separate incident. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies say they took a report of a bad check complaint on Friday out of the Town of Kiantone. According to deputies, it was reported that in October, 39-year-old Tyler Shirley tried to pay for services with a check from an account that was no longer active. Shirley, who has been held in the jail since Thursday morning, will be arraigned on a charge of issuing a bad check.
