Haley Josephine Jimerson, age 42, of Dayton passed away Sunday evening, February 15, 2026, surrounded by family at the Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, following a brief illness. She was born in Houston, TX on June 15, 1983, the loving daughter of Terry and Marijo (Ognen) Jimerson.
Haley was a 2001 graduate of Pine Valley Central School in South Dayton.
She leaves behind her parents of Cottage; daughter, Ariyah L. Jimerson-Ocasio of Gowanda; son, Mikal L. Jimerson-Ocasio, who is stationed in Japan with the United States military; grandson, Akacius J. Cygan, who although young will remember the love she had for him and the memories she created; a sister, Layna Jimerson of Randolph and Zachary Raichlin, with whom Haley shared her life with for nearly 10 years; the father of her children, Kris Ocasio of Gowanda; along with cousins and friends.
She will be missed; her smile, voice and radiance she brought into a room will be long remembered.
A celebration of Haley's life will be held at a date and time to be announced by the Schindler Funeral Home, 44 Center Street in Gowanda as soon as details are made available.
