Anna T. Sedlacek, 94, a resident of the Chautauqua Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Dunkirk, formerly of San Jose, CA, died on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at her residence. She was born in Lackawanna on June 25, 1931, the daughter of the late Bernard and Helen (Norton) Boyer.
Anna was very involved with the St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in San Jose, CA. She enjoyed playing bingo, reading and walking.
Survivors include two sons, Michael (Diane) Sedlacek of Dunkirk and Patrick (Vicki) Sedlacek of Washington; a grandson, Michael A. Sedlacek, Jr.; and two great-grandchildren, Mekiah and Dakota Sedlacek. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James Sedlacek; and her daughter, Michelle Varga.
There will be no services observed at this time.
