Leo J. Wroblewski, 93, of Silver Creek passed away unexpectedly on Saturday evening, February 14, 2026. He was born in Cheektowaga on July 2, 1932, the son of the late Leo and Helen (née Taberski) Wroblewski.
He married the former Mary Anne Chapman on August 20, 1955 at St. Bonaventure's Church in West Seneca.
Leo proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked for General Mills for a number of years and retired from Ford Motor Company's Buffalo Stamping Plant in 1994.
Leo was a devoted and active member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church in Silver Creek, a former member of the Holy Name Society at St. Joseph's RC Church in Cheektowaga, the Silver Creek VFW and American Legion.
Wroblewski enjoyed reading and was a diehard New York Yankees fan.
Leo is survived by two sons, Leo C. Wroblewski of Silver Creek and Paul Wroblewski of Gowanda; two daughters, Judith Wroblewski of Dunkirk and Lenore Wroblewski of Cheektowaga; four grandchildren, Collin (Kristina) and Ryan Farrell, Emily (Max) DeNisco and Alicia Wroblewski; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Frances (Richard) Janas of Greensboro, NY and Jane (late Wally) Tamol of Blasdell; and a brother, Ronald Whyte of Amherst. Leo was predeceased his beloved wife of 60 years, Mary Anne Wroblewski; a daughter, Karen (James) Farrell; two sisters, Eileen Nowak and Lorraine (late Edward) Stachewicz; and two brothers, Norbert and Arthur Wroblewski.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 26 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC. Church, 165 Central Avenue in Silver Creek. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
