Robert F. "Bob" Kaczor, 80, of Fredonia passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk. He was born on February 12, 1946.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Kathleen (Glapa) Kaczor of Fredonia; his son, Robert (Wendy) Kaczor, Jr.; his stepson, Jeffrey (Moriah) Keddie; his stepdaughter, Kristine (T.J.) Moore; his brother, Jacob (Tory) Kaczor; his grandchildren, Zoey, Gavin, Aiden, Caleb, Ryan, Noah, Robert III, Anthony and Cody; his furry best friend, Scooby-Doo; and several nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Julia Maslach; his father, Jacob Kaczor; his sister, Kathleen (Kaczor) Cole; and his brothers, Stanley and Richard Kaczor.
Often perceived as a bit gruff and grumpy, Bob was a kind person who was always doing something for someone. He was always willing to drive a friend or family member to a doctor appointment, pick them up eggs or baked goods from his Amish friends, and take his grandchildren fishing. He could often be found surrounded by family and friends at music festivals, car shows, picnics, and parties. He loved playing cards with his friends, finding treasures at auctions, and tinkering on various cars, lawn mowers, or his boat.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are by R. Michael Mackowiak Jr., R. Mackowiak Funeral Home, Inc., 56 East Doughty Street in Dunkirk.
