Wesley James Kennedy, 59, of the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation died unexpectedly on Monday, March 2, 2026. He was born into the Turtle Clan of the Seneca Nation of Indians on July 27, 1966.
He was the beloved husband of Lesley Kennedy; loving father of Justin, Amanda, Haley and Julia Kennedy; son of Cheryll (late Darwin) Kennedy; brother of Barbara (William D.) Kennedy, Brooks and Ryan (Claudia) Jimerson; son-in-law of Marty (late Marvin) Nephew Sr.; brother-in-law of Marvin Nephew, Jr.; and grandfather of James, Jayla, Jude, June, Jace and Jasmine.
Funeral services were held on Friday, March 5 at the family home of Barbara Kennedy-Brooks, 14167 Route 438 in Gowanda.
Arrangements are by the Addison Funeral Home, 262 North Main Street in Angola.
