Colleen J. Butera, 79, of Jamestown died on Monday, March 23, 2026, surrounded by her family, in the home of her daughter in Dunkirk. Born on July 1, 1946 in Jamestown, she was the daughter of the late Francis "Bugs" and Irene Frahm McGraw.
Colleen was a 1964 graduate of Randolph Central School.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Jamestown Public Schools in food service.
Colleen was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and enjoyed going out to eat and visiting the casino. But more than anything, she loved her family and spending time with them
Surviving are two daughters, Crystal (Sebastian) Butera of Dunkirk and Heather (Quentin) Butera of Jamestown; grandchildren, Brianna Darling, Jaylen Butera, Aubrey (Maddi) DeLeon, Julio DeLeon and Javon Butera; two great-grandchildren, Jamell Trapp and Carson DeLeon; three sisters, Marlene Wendell, Sandra (Harry) Miller and JoAnne McGraw, all of Randolph; and her special friends, Shirley and Sheila.
There will be no funeral service or visitation. Burial will be in Randolph Cemetery.
