Frank A. "Pete" Clabeaux of Collins passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026 at the age of 84. He was born on June 21, 1941 in North Collins, a son of the late William and Flora (Batt) Clabeaux.
Frank was a construction laborer for Stimm Fitzpatrick in Buffalo, and in his free time, he enjoyed gardening, bowling and hunting. He had also been a member of the Collins Center Volunteer Fire Department and the Moose in Gowanda for many years. Additionally, he had spent time coaching baseball over the years. Pete also loved his grandchildren dearly.
He is survived by his loving partner of 30 years, Janice (Hoffman) Schneider; children, Tina (Chuck) Hauth, Tracy (Craig) Wyman, Karen (Tim) Shaw, Troy (Shelly) Schneider and Kathy (Scott) McKibbin; grandchildren, Jordan Hawkins, Zachary Hauth, Madison Hauth, Isabelle Wyman, Katie Macakanja, Danny Macakanja, Sarah Macakanja, Georgia Shaw, Jackie Schneider, Jake (Brieannah) Schneider, Johnny Shaw, Laura Sheehy, Greg (Erica) McKibbin and Emma McKibbin; great-grandchildren, Mary Lou, Gemma and Hazel; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his first wife, Penelope (Simms) Clabeaux; and siblings, June Silagyi, Eugene Clabeaux, William Clabeaux, Ronald Clabeaux, Earl Clabeaux and Yvonne Tolman.
There will be no prior visitation. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
