Martha "Tootie" Bartelo Miller, 83, of St. Petersburg, FL passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 after a long and courageous battle with cancer that she fought with grace, dignity, and an unwavering strength. She was born on September 23, 1942 and raised in Dunkirk to Samuel and Martha (Alessi) Bartelo. She moved to Florida in the 1970s.
A truly creative soul, Tootie possessed an artistic eye paired with meticulous skill, bringing magical beauty to everything from her professional work to her home decor. She shared her talent as a gifted floral designer for many years before establishing a successful career as an accomplished permanent makeup artist, retiring after years of dedicated artistry.
She was formerly married to Donald Miller, and together, they shared two daughters.
Tootie was predeceased by her sister, Gloria Epolito Clarke. She is survived by her brother, Joseph Bartelo; her two daughters, Linette Miller Dyal and Lori Miller Litzenberger (Richard); four grandchildren, Justin Dyal (Ariana), Joshua Dyal, Jessical Dyal and Richard Litzenberger, Jr.; four great-grandchildren, Avyanna, Adalynn, Liam and Asher Dyal; as well as many other family members and cherished friends.
Tootie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and will be announced by the family.
