Sunday Sports Update
Top: Syracuse will be aiming for a spot in the NCAA Tournament's Sweet 16 this evening. The Orange will go up against Middle Tennessee in Round 2 of the Big Dance, and a big key to their success will be the play of Malachi Richardson (left) and Tyler Roberson (right). Against Dayton, Richardson led the Orange with 21 points, while Roberson had a double-double with 10 points and 18 rebounds. Photos by USA Today
Bottom left: Brian Gionta gets applauded by his teammates after scoring the only goal for the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday against Toronto. The Sabres lost to the Maple Leafs 4-1, as their offense had trouble scoring without their star rookie Jack Eichel. Eichel sat out last night's game with the flu.
Bottom right: Former Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III visited the Cleveland Browns on Saturday, as he looks for a new place to call home. RG3 sat out most of last season in Washington as a backup to Kirk Cousins. The Browns are looking for stability at quarterback with journeyman Josh McCown at the top of their depth chart and Johnny Manziel no longer with the team.
