Top: Things were not looking good for Syracuse in the Sweet 16, but the Orange ended Friday's contest against Gonzaga on a 15-3 run to come away with a 63-60 victory in the Midwest Regional Semifinals in Chicago. Michael Gbinije (left) put the Orange ahead 61-60 with a layup with 22 seconds to play, while Tyler Lydon (right) blocked Josh Perkins' potential game-winner in the closing seconds to preserve the Syracuse win. Bottom left: Demetrious Jackson was the hero for Notre Dame, as the Irish defeated Wisconsin 61-56 in Friday's East Regional Semifinals in Philadelphia. Jackson made a quick layup, got a steal, then made another layup as part of an 8-0 Irish run in the final 20 seconds to get the win after Vitto Brown's go-ahead three-pointer appeared to put the Badgers in the driver's seat.
