Top: After selecting Clemson linebacker Shaq Lawson in the 1st round of the NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills continued to address their defense on Day 2 of the draft. On Friday, the Bills chose Alabama linebacker Reggie Ragland (left, pictured with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and former Bills defensive end Bruce Smith) with the 41st overall pick. In Round 3, the Bills chose Adolphus Washington (right), a defensive tackle from Ohio State.
Bottom left: The Portland Trail Blazers celebrate after holding off the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 6 of their NBA First Round Playoff series Friday night. The Blazers won 106-103 to win the series 4-2. Portland will face the defending champion Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Semifinals.
Bottom right: Being one of the best regular-season teams is one thing, but not getting results in the postseason is what wound up costing Bruce Boudreau his job. On Friday, the Anaheim Ducks fired Boudreau, two days after the Ducks were eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs by the Nashville Predators in seven games. Anaheim has now lost four consecutive opening round playoff series.
