On Friday, she held Wilson to just three hits in the circle and added four hits and three runs at the plate as the Lady Billies cruised to a 13-1 win in the Section VI Class B-2 softball quarterfinals. Fredonia also had five home runs in the winning effort. Photo by Ron Szot
Bottom right: Nyquist will pursue the middle jewel of horse racing's Triple Crown today at Pimlico. The winner of the Kentucky Derby, Nyquist is the morning line favorite at 3-5 to win the 141st Preakness Stakes in what is expected to be a sloppy track.
