Top: The Buffalo Sabres made a deal on Saturday to acquire Florida Panthers defenseman Dmitry Kulikov. The Sabres, who made the trade for Kulikov to start Day 2 of the NHL Draft, picked up Kulikov in exchange for Mark Pysyk and two draft picks. Kulikov had 28 goals and 110 assists in seven seasons with the Panthers. Photo by USA Today
Bottom left: New York Yankees catch Brian McCann slides home safely to score the go-ahead run against the Minnesota Twins on Saturday in the Bronx. McCann scored in the bottom of the 8th inning after Twins shortstop Eduardo Escobar made an error on a ground ball that would have ended the inning tied 1-1.
