Saturday Sports Update

Top left: Rasmus Dahlin stands with members of the Buffalo Sabres' front office in Dallas after getting chosen by the team with the 1st overall pick in the NHL Draft on Friday.  The Sabres are still trying to turn their franchise around after missing the playoffs for seven straight years, and the 18-year-old Swedish defenseman says he will do whatever it takes to win games in Buffalo.  Photo by USA Today

Top right: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will likely be missing starting quarterback Jameis Winston for the beginning of the 2018 season after the NFL announced that it is planning to suspend him for three games.  The announcement follows an investigation of Winston groping an Uber driver in 2016.  If Winston does sit out, the Bucs will likely be seeing former Buffalo Bills signal-caller Ryan Fitzpatrick under center when the new season begins.  Photo by USA Today
