Saturday Sports Update
Top left: Hard to believe that NFL training camps are already up and running! One of the big storylines for the Buffalo Bills at St. John Fisher College will be the performance of their three quarterbacks (from left to right): Nathan Peterman, A.J. McCarron, and Josh Allen. Peterman got the majority of work with the first team offense this morning, but head coach Sean McDermott says all three will get some first-team work for the foreseeable future. Top right: While Josh Allen got some work in today at Bills camp, the same cannot be said for the New York Jets and their 1st-round draft pick. The Jets opened their camp Friday without quarterback Sam Darnold, who remains engaged in a contract dispute. Photo by Newsday
Bottom left: Court is adjourned in the Bronx, at least for the next few weeks. On Friday, New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge learned that he will likely miss at least three weeks after getting plunked with a fastball on Thursday, breaking his wrist. Judge is batting .285 with 26 homers and 61 RBI on the season.
Bottom right: Geraint Thomas is in a celebratory mood today, and for good reason. Today, the Brit all but officially clinched victory in the 2018 Tour de France, cycling's premier event. Sunday marks the Tour's final stage, the traditionally ceremonial ride down the Champs-Elysees in Paris. Photo by Team Sky
