Saturday Sports Update
Top left: Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott says he liked the performances of all three of his quarterbacks -- Nathan Peterman, A.J. McCarron, and Josh Allen -- in his team's first preseason game against the Carolina Panthers. Addressing the media before Friday's practice, McDermott suggests the competition among the three has caused them to step up their game. He added that he liked Allen's performance, starting aggressively and eventually settling in.

So far, so good for the Bills, but not so for the Washington Redskins, as their rookie running back, Derrius Guice, tore his ACL on Thursday against the New England Patriots. On Friday, Guice learned that he will be out for the entire 2018 season. Photo by the Washington Post

Guzman has been a big thorn in New York's side this season; he now has six homers this season against the Bronx Bombers, which makes him the first Rangers player to hit that many homers against the Yanks in one season.
