Sunday Sports Update
Top left: NFL football that means something? Indeed, it is back! The first Sunday of the 2018 season kicks off this afternoon, and it will include the Buffalo Bills facing the Baltimore Ravens, the team whose loss in Week 17 last year got the Bills into the playoffs, ending that infamous 17-year drought. You can listen to the game on WDOE (94.9 FM/1410 AM), with kickoff from M&T Bank Stadium at 1:00 PM. Image by the Buffalo Bills
Top right: With the new NFL season comes plenty of fantasy football talk. Arizona Cardinals running back David Johnson is sure to be a popular player with his dual threat of running and receiving. Johnson, who suffered a season-ending injury in Week 1 last year, was signed to a three-year extension by the Cardinals on Saturday. Photo by USA Today

During the women's final, Williams was penalized by the chair umpire for allegedly receiving coaching from the stands, as well as breaking a racket. Serena's complaints to the umpire eventually cost her a game in the 2nd set. She wound up losing to Naomi Osaka 6-2, 6-4. Photo by USA Today
