Bills play for pride against the Lions...Sabres come up short against the Caps...and an incredible buzzer beater from the Hoosiers.  Greg Larson has more details on today's Sunday Sports Update...

Sunday Sports Update

With the Buffalo Bills officially eliminated from playoff contention, the team will be playing for pride for the next three weeks.  It will also allow players like Marcus Murphy to get some additional playing time.  Murphy is expected to start at running back today against the Detroit Lions, as LeSean McCoy and Chris Ivory are both questionable with injuries.  Listen to today's game on WDOE (94.9 FM/1410 AM), with kickoff from New Era Field at 1:00 PM!  Photo by the Buffalo Bills

Sometimes you need to send a doctor onto the ice, because Jack Eichel is sick...as in this goal he scored against the Washington Capitals on Saturday.  And Rick Jeanneret's call is not too bad, either!  Watch the clip for yourself and see Eichel's stick-handling ability.  Video by MSG

It's still early in the college basketball season, but it's never too early for a buzzer beater!  Indiana Hoosiers freshman Rob Phinisee was forced to take a desperation shot against Butler on Saturday with the game tied and the clock running down.  Check out the finish!  Video by CBS
