Saturday Sports Update

Top left: Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Kyle Williams addresses reporters on Friday following his announcement that he will retire.  Williams, who played 13 NFL seasons, all with the Bills, cited family reasons, among other things, for his decision to walk away from football following Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins.  Williams, whose 48.5 career sacks is fifth on the franchise's all-time sacks list, will play in his 183rd career game tomorrow.  Image by the Buffalo Bills

Bottom: It may be the holiday season, but there is plenty of high school hoops going on across the county.  On Friday, Tachiana Garcia (left) and the Dunkirk Lady Marauders improved to 8-0 with a 75-29 thumping of Gowanda in the Frewsburg Holiday Tournament on Friday.  Meanwhile, Riley Rivera (right) had 12 points and 10 rebounds to help push Brocton to a 76-52 victory over Gowanda.  Photos by the Observer
