Sunday Sports Update

Top left: Just two days after reports of Antonio Brown going to Buffalo were quickly put to bed, the mercurial Pittsburgh Steelers receiver has found a new home.  Multiple sources today confirmed that the Steelers have reached an agreement to trade Brown to the Oakland Raiders in exchange for a 3rd- and 5th-round draft pick.  In nine seasons with the Steelers, Brown was one of the most productive receivers in the NFL, recording 837 receptions for 11,207 yards and 74 touchdowns.  Photo by USA Today

Top right: The Buffalo Sabres' trip to the Mile High City on Saturday is one they'll want to forget pretty quickly.  The Sabres got outworked and managed only 18 shots on goal in a 3-0 loss to the Colorado Avalanche.  Buffalo has now lost 10 of its last 12 contests.  Photo by the Buffalo Sabres

Bottom right: With the Section VI basketball playoffs officially in the rear view mirror, it's now time for the awards.  The boys from CCAA Division 2 West recently held their awards banquet.  Evan Hauser was part of the league's First Team after leading Westfield in scoring this season.  Wolverines coach Bob North was named the league's Coach of the Year for guiding his team to the school's first division title since 2000.  Photo by the Observer
