Sunday Sports Update

On Saturday, Lowry began the day tied for the lead, but then took advantage of favorable conditions and carded a 63 to get to -16 and a four-shot lead. Lowry extended his lead over Tommy Fleetwood by two strokes through the first eight holes of today's final round at Royal Portrush. Photo by USA Today

Bottom right: Olivia Anderson, who recently graduated from Chautauqua Lake High School, was recently named to the All-Western New York softball team for the 2019 season. The honor should come as no surprise; Anderson played six seasons for the school's varsity team and helped deliver a state championship for the program in 2018. She was also the New York State Class C Co-Player of the Year during the school's title run. Photo by the Observer
