Sunday Sports Update
Top: There was a lot to talk about Saturday during the Buffalo Bills' first padded practice of their 2019 training camp. By many accounts, second-year quarterback Josh Allen (left) had his best practice of camp thus far. Meanwhile, rookie tight end Dawson Knox (right) got involved in a fracas after bumping into cornerback Micah Hyde on the sideline. Knox's practice ended early, though, as he had to leave the field with a hamstring injury. Photos by the Buffalo Bills
Bottom left: CC Sabathia was the latest New York Yankees pitcher to get hammered by the Boston Red Sox on Saturday. The veteran lefty's outing lasted only 4 1/3 innings, with five runs allowed on nine hits in a 9-5 loss to the Sox. Yankees pitchers have given up a total of 73 runs in the team's last seven games.
