Top left: Cassadaga Valley point guard Bella Ruiz draws a double-team from Silver Creek's Libby Lawton and Abby Rice during Friday night's Section VI Class C-1 girls quarterfinal in Sinclairville. The Lady Black Knights played sound defense in the 4th quarter to rally from a 10-point deficit and defeat the Lady Cougars 44-38. On Friday, Toppin scored 23 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, and added four assists as the Flyers, who are ranked 4th in the country, defeated Davidson 82-67 on Friday for their 18th consecutive win, which clinched the Atlantic 10 regular season title for the school.
