Top left: UB Stadium will be empty this fall. The University at Buffalo has cancelled its 2020 football season after the Mid-American Conference became the first FBS football conference to cancel its season due to player health and safety concerns amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Top right: No player from China has ever held a lead or co-lead after any round of a major golf championship. That is, until Haotong Li. On Friday, Li carded a 65 at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco to grab sole possession of the lead at -8 at the halfway point of golf's first major of 2020. Bottom right: Federal charges have been filed in connection with the July 2019 death of Los Angeles Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs. Former Angels Communications Director and publicist Eric Kay was charged with distributing fetanyl after Skaggs accidentally overdosed.
