Top left: The Buffalo Bills will be without the services of starting fullback Patrick DiMarco for a while.  On Friday, the Bills placed DiMarco on injured reserve, with a neck injury keeping him out of training camp practices.  DiMarco is entering his ninth NFL season, including his fourth as a member of the Bills.  Photo by the Buffalo Bills

Top right: Brett Gardner belts a two-run single for the New York Yankees in the top of the 3rd inning against the Baltimore Orioles in the first game of a doubleheader in Baltimore.  The Yankees won the first game of the twinbill by a 6-5 score, but lost the second game 6-3, ending a 19-game winning streak for the Yanks against the Orioles.  Photo by USA Today

Bottom left: Joel Kiviranta (right) celebrates after scoring the game-winning and series-winning goal for the Dallas Stars in Game 7 of the NHL's Western Conference Semifinals in Edmonton on Friday.  The Stars eliminated the Colorado Avalanche with a 5-4 victory and will go on to face the Vegas Golden Knights in the next round.  Kiviranta wound up with a hat trick on the day.  Photo by USA Today

Bottom right: Jimmy Butler (left), Jae Crowder (right), and the Miami Heat are on the verge of a massive upset in the NBA Playoffs.  On Friday, the Heat beat the top seed in the East, the Milwaukee Bucks, by a score of 115-100 to grab a commanding 3-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.  The Heat trailed 87-75 after three quarters, but went on to stun the Bucks in the 4th quarter by outscoring them 40-13.  Photo by USA Today
