Sunday Sports Update
Top: The Buffalo Bills have not beaten the New England Patriots at home since 2011, but today will be a prime opportunity for Josh Allen (left) and company to get a crucial victory at Bills Stadium. The Patriots have not been the same team this year without Tom Brady; they're 2-4 and will be relying on former Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton (right) to bounce back from a dreadful performance against San Francisco last week. Bottom left: Clemson will remain number one in the country in the next poll, but not after surviving a scare against Boston College on Saturday. Freshman quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei threw for 342 yards and two touchdowns and rallied the Tigers from a 15-point halftime deficit to beat the Eagles 34-28. Uiagalelei will be called on again next Saturday against 4th-ranked Notre Dame, as starter Trevor Lawrence will not be available due to having to go through COVID-19 protocols. Photo by USA Today
