Saturday Sports Update -- November 14, 2020

Bills with a short injury list this week...a logjam atop the Masters leaderboard...and the Marlins hire the first female GM in the four major North American sports leagues.  More details from Greg Larson on today's Saturday Sports Update...

Saturday Sports Update

Top left: The Buffalo Bills are looking a lot healthier this week compared to recent weeks, as they prepare for Sunday's road game against the Arizona Cardinals.  However, one of the Bills that may not be in the fold is safety Micah Hyde.  On Friday, the Bills listed Hyde as questionable after missing all of Friday's practice with an ankle injury.  Offensive lineman Cody Ford, who is also dealing with a bad ankle, is the other starter listed on the team's injury report.  Photo by the Buffalo Bills

Top right: After a solid first round of play at Augusta National on Thursday, Dustin Johnson cooled off a bit on Friday, but remains in a tie for the lead halfway through the Masters, which had been rescheduled after the COVID-19 pandemic hit.  Johnson is one of five players tied for the lead at -9 after Round 2 concluded this morning.  Photo by USA Today

Bottom left: The Miami Marlins made history on Friday by announcing the hiring of Kim Ng as their new General Manager. Ng becomes the first female GM in any of the four major North American professional sports leagues and the first GM of Asian descent to serve in the position.  Photo by the Miami Marlins

Bottom right: The Fredonia High School boys soccer team, led by Juan Matias, will look to bring home a Section VI championship today for the first time in 35 years.  The Hillbillies face Allegany-Limestone in the Class B-2 title game at 5:00 PM, which you can hear on WDOE (94.9 FM/101.5 FM/1410 AM) and our live stream here at chautauquatoday.com.  Photo by Ron Szot
