Saturday Sports Update
Top: A good sign for the Buffalo Bills as they head into the most challenging stretch of their season has been the ability of the defense to make big plays. Cornerback Tre'Davious White (left) showed that ability with a late interception last week against the Los Angeles Chargers. But perhaps more significant for the Bills is the potential return of starting linebacker Matt Milano (right), who was placed on injured reserve after Week 8 but is now eligible to return to action. Hauschka played in three season with the Bills from 2017-2019, scoring 303 points and connecting on 82.0% of his field goal attempts during his time at One Bills Drive. Bottom right: New York Yankees third baseman Gio Urshela is expected to miss the first half of spring training after undergoing surgery on Friday to remove a bone chip from his right elbow. The Yankees say the expected recovery time is three months for Urshela, whose 2020 season was hampered by that elbow injury. Photo by Newsday
