Sunday Sports Update
Top: Josh Allen (left) turned in perhaps his best performance of the 2020 NFL season in the Buffalo Bills' 34-24 over San Francisco last Monday, throwing for 375 yards and four touchdowns. Tonight, Allen and company face the Pittsburgh Steelers (right), who have arguably the league's best defense, but that unit enters tonight's contest with some key players missing, including cornerback Joe Haden and linebacker Bud Dupree. Catch all the action from Bills Stadium on WDOE (94.9 FM/101.5 FM/1410 AM), with pregame coverage starting at 6:00 PM! Photos by the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers
Bottom left: One week after his record performance against Kent State, Buffalo running back Jaret Patterson saw much more limited action against Akron. Patterson ran for 105 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 16 carries as UB cruised to a 56-7 win to close the regular season at 5-0. Bottom right: Hockey now has its first ever million-dollar card. On Friday, a 1979 O-Pee-Chee rookie card of Wayne Gretzky sold at an auction in Dallas for $1.29 million. The card, which sold for $465,000 four years ago, is one of only two Wayne Gretzky rookie cards in existence for that brand to have a perfect professional grade of Gem Mint.
