Sunday Sports Update
Top: The first meeting between the Bills and the Patriots this season ended up with some late heroics by Buffalo's defense, as Justin Zimmer (left) forced a fumble deep in Bills territory in the final minute that was recovered by the Bills to preserve a 24-21 win at Bills Stadium in Week 8. This week's matchup will have a different feel to it, with the Bills vying to secure the Number 2 seed in the AFC Playoffs and the Patriots out of contention. Bottom left: How did Ryan Fitzpatrick pull this one off? With the Miami Dolphins trailing the Las Vegas Raiders 25-23 with only 19 seconds remaining, Fitzpatrick completed a 34-yard pass while he was getting his helmet twisted by the Raiders' Arden Key. The completion and subsequent 15-yard penalty set up the game-winning 44-yard field goal with one second left as the Dolphins escaped with a 26-25 win to keep their postseason hopes alive. The announcement was made by Bulls head coach Lance Leipold during a team meeting on Thursday, one day before the team's appearance in the Camellia Bowl in Montgomery, Alabama. The senior wound up having a big game, catching seven passes for 61 yards in UB's 17-10 win over Marshall. Photo by the University at Buffalo
