Sunday Sports Update
Top: Nick Whitfield was in a zone for Fredonia during Saturday's high school football game against Chautauqua Lake-Westfield-Brocton and had a had in all five of the Billies' touchdowns on the night. The junior quarterback is shown on the left celebrating after running for a 4-yard touchdown in the 2nd quarter, but it was his right arm that provided much of the highlights. On the right, Whitfield is seen getting ready to throw a 44-yard touchdown pass late in the 2nd quarter. It was one of four touchdown passes thrown by Whitfield, who amassed 374 yards through the air as Fredonia won 35-12. Photos by Ron Szot and Greg Larson
