Top left: Christian Ortiz eludes two defenders during Saturday's high school football game between Dunkirk and Maritime-Health Sciences at Karl Hoeppner Field.  Ortiz carried the ball 27 times for 103 yards and a touchdown for the Marauders in his final varsity game.  However, that would be one of the few highlights for the home team, as the Falcons routed the Marauders 60-6.  Photo by Ron Szot

Top right: Joe Gullo pursues John Swabik during Fredonia's Class C South football game against Clymer-Sherman-Panama on Saturday.  Swabik ran for two touchdowns, while the Wolfpack defense pitched a shutout in clinching the division title and the top seed in the Class C playoffs.  The 26-0 result also eliminated the Hillbillies from postseason contention.  Photo by David Burnworth
