Saturday Sports Update

DeJesus accounted most of Dunkirk's scoring on the night with two rushing touchdowns, but his bid to tie the game at the end came up short, as he threw two interceptions in the final period in a 22-14 loss for the Marauders, dropping their record to 1-2. Bottom: The American League wild card race is indeed just that -- wild. On Friday, the New York Yankees' lead for the first wild card spot went down to one game after a 4-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays, coupled with a Boston Red Sox win. Meanwhile, the Toronto Blue Jays remain within one game of the Red Sox and are now two games back of the Yankees after they defeated the Baltimore Orioles. Photos by USA Today
