Saturday Sports Update
Top: It is only one game into their new season, but the Buffalo Sabres already have some injury issues to deal with. On Friday, Sabres head coach Don Granato announced that center Casey Mittelstadt (left) and defenseman Henri Jokiharju (right) will be out for at least two weeks after getting injured against the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday. Mittelstadt suffered an upper body injury and did not return to the game, while Jokiharju sustained a lower body injury but was able to play through it. Photo by the Buffalo Sabres

On Friday, Milano was limited in practice for the second consecutive day with a hamstring injury. Milano missed last Sunday's win at Kansas City after suffering the injury during the Bills' win over Houston in Week 4. File photo
Bottom right: Dunkirk's struggles continued Friday on the high school gridiron, as the Marauders lost on the road to West Seneca East by a score of 36-6 in a shortened game on Friday. Senior Javier DeJesus, shown here dropping back to pass in a recent home game, scored the only points of the contest for the Marauders when he caught an 18-yard touchdown pass. Friday's game was called in the 3rd quarter after multiple lightning delays. Photo by the Dunkirk City Schools District
