Top left: Nick Whitfield gets ready to throw a deep pass during the 3rd quarter of Saturday night's high school football game at the Orange Bowl between Fredonia and Falconer-Cassadaga Valley-Maple Grove. Whitfield threw for 194 yards and a touchdown, and also ran for 35 yards and two scores as the Hillbillies blew out the Golden Cougars 39-14 to clinch the Class C South division and secure at least one home playoff game. Top right: Dustin Tokarski (left) and Vinnie Hinostroza (right) celebrate after the Buffalo Sabres defeated the Arizona Coyotes 2-1 in a shootout on Saturday at the KeyBank Center. Tokarski made 20 saves in regulation and overtime, then stopped two of the three shots he faced in the shootout.
