Sunday Sports Update
Top: To call it a big game would be an understatement; Monday night's contest between the Buffalo Bills and the New England Patriots will be a massive clash, as first place in the AFC East is on the line. The Bills are coming off a blowout win over the New Orleans Saints, but the Patriots have won six in a row, and they may need to make plays like Justin Zimmer's strip of Cam Newton last year (left) or Josh Allen doing something with his legs (right) to put the Bills over the top. Tune in to WDOE (94.9 FM/101.5 FM/1410 AM) for Monday night's game, with kickoff from Highmark Stadium at 8:15 PM! File photos

Leading the way was senior quarterback Nick Whitfield, who was named the Class C South Player of the Year. Four other Fredonia players -- Simon Davis, Ethan Fry, Owen Rush and Shawn Farnham -- made the division's First Team Offense with Whitfield. Meanwhile, Matt Lotter was named the division's Defensive Player of the Year, and he was joined on the First Team by Ismael Martinez, Sam Atzrott and Davon McCall.
